September 30, 2011 PICS

This is just a funny face Sammy decided to do after we were done coaxing him to say "hat."

For some reason, when Sammy speaks the word "hat," he feels the need to stick out his tongue and leave it there for an extended period of time.

Flora loves to dive on the pillows. We now call this "pillow pile."

We went to the store today, just for something to do, and they had a 2-seater car cart. SO GREAT! The kids loved it!

Both kids love to stare out the door and windows. This morning, the excitement that drew them in was the morning garbage run. :)

Nap 2: 2:20-3:50!!
Snack 2: 2:00pm, cereal
BM: 11:30 (Flora decided to poop 10 minutes after I changed her…ha. :) )
Special notes: We are almost out of wipes, so if you think to send some more, that would be great! The portable changing thing is completely out as well.

Name: Samuel
Date: 9-30-11
Arrived: 7:20
Breakfast: 7:20, eggs and applesauce
Snack 1: ----
Nap 1: 10:20-12:00
Lunch: 12, most of everything…tuna, sweet potato, broccoli, and pineapple
Nap 2: ----
Snack 2: 2:30pm, PB and pancakes
BM: ????
Special notes:

A few things we did today: went for a walk, went to Kroger (those carts with the cars on the front are awesome! It’s better than the Cozy Coupe…TWO steering wheels and enough space for both at once, and they get to go all around a grocery store instead of a small house. How awesome!), listened to me play guitar and played drums just a little bit, practiced the alphabet with the power point (Andrea, if you ever want to use it, both copies are on the desktop…Drew and Adriane, if you want a copy, let me know which email I should send it to. The nice thing about it is you could add your own pictures and words…change it however you want!), played with Ben (Samuel…Flora was asleep), played with PB playdough (very briefly…I will try again with just Flora; Samuel only wanted to eat large portions!)

Flora in the wheely cart at Butterfields

At Butterfields.

Name: Flora
Date: 9-29-11
Arrived: 7:10am
Breakfast: 7:15am, a few eggs
Snack 1: 10am, cereal
Nap 1: 10:30-11:25
Lunch: 12:15, most grapes, most of the rest of breakfast eggs, most of pasta, all cheese, all broccoli
Nap 2: 2:30-3:15
Snack 2: 2:15, cereal
BM: 11:45am
Special notes: Flora and I were going over the Power Point alphabet flash cards, and when we got to “W” and “Wood,” Flora pointed outside to our backyard pile of wood. Jason would be so proud. :)

Name: Samuel
Date: 9-29-11
Arrived: 7:20am
Breakfast: 7:30am, all oatmeal with raisins
Snack 1: ----
Nap 1: 10:55-12:05
Lunch: 12:15, eggs, banana, yogurt, and sweet potatoes
Nap 2: 4:15-???
Snack 2: 2:15, potato and cheese
BM: 1pm
Special notes: Samuel took a while to fall asleep this morning as well as this afternoon. It might be a little rough at first, but I wonder if he would adjust quickly to one nap after a few days...? I will keep him on two for now, but maybe we can talk about this some more. I am still trying to find some research on the subject of toddler napping. Haven’t found anything extremely useful yet, though there was a suggestion to not let them nap past 3 or 4. You can let me know your thoughts! :) We'll keep talking and experimenting.

A few things we did today: went for a walk, went to Butterfield Farm, played in the grass, listened to music, played in the middle room

General notes: Both kids liked Butterfields. We checked out all the pumpkins and then went out back to look at the flowers in the greenhouse (which wasn’t as interesting as I thought because all the flowers were the same!), and then they took a short ride on the little wheely cart thing (I got permission, of course). Samuel didn’t last long at all as I could see he wasn’t steady enough to hold himself up, so it was mostly Flora, but that didn’t last long either because I was starting to get a little nervous as she found her courage to move around as I pulled. Yikes! Time to get out! :)

September 28, 2011 PICS

There's just something about staring out the window... :) It is especially fun at Milo's house because of all the exciting traffic.

Before and after being bundled. :)

This was a picture from yesterday. Yes, it is difficult to take a picture with two kids sitting on your lap!

September 28, 2011

Sorry this is late!

Name: Flora
Date: 9-28-11
Arrived: 7:10am
Breakfast: 7:15am, some oatmeal
Snack 1: 9:30am, cereal
Nap 1: ----
Lunch: 11:15am, most grapes, all broccoli, almost all pasta, all cheese
Nap 2: 12:15-1:45
Snack 2: 3pm, bears and raisins
BM: 1:45
Special notes: I was reading to Flora on the front porch while Sammy was still sleeping. We were looking at a picture of an orange, and she did her usual “dah!”…but she was pointing at the pumpkins! So, I’m not sure if she thought a pumpkin was an orange or if she recognized the color orange…I’m assuming the first, but I’d be pretty impressed if it was the second! :)

Name: Samuel
Date: 9-28-11
Arrived: 7:30am
Breakfast: 7:15am, a few eggs, banana
Snack 1: 9:30am, homemade crackers and a few Kix from Milo
Nap 1: ----
Lunch: 11:15, all pizza, a few grapes, all beans, all carrots (with PB)
Nap 2: 12:30-2:40
Snack 2: 3:00, potatoes
BM: Can’t remember…? Sorry…
Special notes:

A few things we did today: Went for a walk, played at Milo’s house, played in the middle room (read books, played on the cars, played on the pillows, etc.)

General notes: Andrea got to witness the sniffing festival this morning…hilarious! The kids were eating breakfast and facing one another, and then one of them did the sign for “flower,” and so the other one started in, and they just kept sniffing back and forth at one another.

We did one nap today, which seemed to work well for both kids, but I’m afraid it affects Sammy later in the evenings. Therefore, as long as Flora will tolerate it, I think I’ll stick with two naps until Sammy is closer to being ready for just one. Drew and Adriane, if this is a problem, let me know and I’d be happy to change things.

September 27, 2011

No Pics Today.

Name: Flora
Date: 9-27-11
Arrived: 7:10am
Breakfast: 7:15am, a little oatmeal
Snack 1: 9am, cereal
Nap 1: 10:20-11:10
Lunch: 12, al carrots, most of cheese, all pasta, all grapes, a little banana
Nap 2: left with Grandma
Snack 2: see above
BM: none yet
Special notes: Flora was flipping through an animal book today and started making a noise. When I looked down, she was pointing to an elephant, which was the noise she was making. She is getting really good at recognizing things. I’m sure there are many instances like this throughout the day but I just can’t remember them by the time I fill this out. :) She’s pretty amazing!

Name: Samuel
Date: 9-27-11
Arrived: 7:15am
Breakfast: 7:00am, a little oatmeal, some bread pieces, a banana
Snack 1: ----
Nap 1: 10:15-11:20
Lunch: 12, all pizza, some fruit (he shared with me because he didn’t seem interested in his own pineapple), wouldn’t eat carrots, 1 banana
Nap 2: 3:15-
Snack 2:
BM: 8:30am,
Special notes: Samuel was pretty much asleep by the time we got back from our walk. :) He really liked the song “Day-O” today when it came on Pandora.

A few things we did today: went for a walk, played with pots and spoons, played piano, played around the house, listened to music…Just Samuel: went to the store and to the bank, “helped” me finish preparing the soup for tonight, talked to Scott the mailman

General notes: I should have taken a picture of both of them in the stroller with their hats and hoods on and wrapped in blankets this morning. So cute! I also attempted to take a picture of them playing piano, but I never got a worthy shot.

September 26, 2011

No Pics Today.

Name: Flora
Date: 9-26-11
Arrived: 7:10am
Breakfast: 7:15am, 3/4 of a pancake
Snack 1: 9:30, cereal
Nap 1: 10:30-
Lunch: 12, all carrots, all pasta, the rest of the pancake from breakfast, and just a couple bites of salmon.
Nap 2: 2:35-3:15
Snack 2: bear cookies and raisins
BM: 1pm? I can’t remember exactly what time
Special notes: We were listening to Pandora and the Baby Einstein “If You’re Happy and You Know It” came on and Flora loved it! She was pretty excited about it. While we were outside today, Flora found a walnut. I was particularly intrigued that she picked it up, threw it down, then picked it up again and carried it all the way over to our red recycle bin in the backyard, which happens to be filled with other walnuts right now!

Name: Samuel
Date: 7-26-11
Arrived: 7:25am
Breakfast: pancakes and 1 banana
Snack 1: ----
Nap 1: 10:30-11:50
Lunch: 12, some pasta, all pineapple, all broccoli (with a little bit of PB), yogurt
Nap 2: 3:40-still napping
Snack 2: 2:15pm, cheese
BM: 8:30am, 2pm
Special notes: I switched Sammy back to a regular diaper this afternoon and used a little bit of cream…when I changed him at 2, he was starting to look a little red.

A few things we did today: read, played outside, went for a walk, listened to music, played in the middle room

General notes: We found a couple really big leaves on our walk, so I showed them the sign language for “leaf” again. Flora may be getting it a little bit. Both kids liked exploring the wheelbarrow outside. It was upsidedown and so they were spinning the wheels. Not much else to note today except that it is beautiful outside! :)

September 23, 2011 PICS

Flora couldn't use just one push toy, so she grabbed both...obviously enjoying it! :)

It was nearly impossible to separate Sammy and the balloon...

Look at this picture and imagine Sammy straining his voice and saying, "Ooooooooooeeeew!" at the balloon. :)

September 23, 2011

Name: Flora
Date: 9-23-11
Arrived: 7:10am
Breakfast: 7:15am, all eggs, I think that was it…?
Snack 1: 9:30, cereal
Nap 1: ----
Lunch: 11:45, all carrots, grapes, only a couple bites of burrito, about half of a yogurt
Nap 2: 12:40-1:15
Snack 2: 2:30, cereal
BM: 1:20pm
Special notes: Flora had fun finding Ben under a blanket today. She also enjoyed toting the balloon around the house. Make note: Kids between 1-2, cheap entertainment: a helium balloon! :)

Name: Samuel
Date: 9-23-11
Arrived: 7:30
Breakfast: 7:30, oatmeal and raisins
Snack 1: ----
Nap 1: ----
Lunch: 11:45, some beans and rice, all pineapple, all banana, some carrots with PB
Nap 2: 12:40-1:20
Snack 2: 2:30, banana cookie and a few grapes
BM: 11? I can’t remember…sometime in the morning.
Special notes: I definitely don’t think Sam was ready for a one-napper. We’ll probably switch back to trying two again on Monday. He LOVED the balloon today…would hardly let go of it, even to crawl around.

A few things we did today: read, went to the library, went for a walk (in the rain!), hung out with Em and Ben

General notes: The one nap didn’t seem to work very well today, so I think I’ll switch back on Monday and just kind of feel it out from there…we’ll keep talking about it as the kids get older to see how they are doing on the weekends. The kids loved the library! There were some fun things there to explore.

Pictures of Flora doing the "book" sign.

September 22, 2011

Name: Flora
Date: 9-22-11
Arrived: 7:10am
Breakfast: 7:15am, some oatmeal
Snack 1: 9:45, cereal
Nap 1: 10:15-11:10
Lunch: noon, all carrots and cheese, most of grapes and burrito, 1/3 of a banana
Nap 2: 2:30-3:30
Snack 2: not yet…
BM: 1pm
Special notes: We worked on “book” in sign language today. It is amazing how she catches on to things so fast!

Name: Samuel
Date: 9-22-11
Arrived: 7:30am
Breakfast: 7:30am, some oatmeal and whatever else Andrea fed him
Snack 1: ----
Nap 1: 10:15-11:40
Lunch: noon, all broccoli, all PB sandwich, all banana
Nap 2:
Snack 2: 2:30, banana cookie
BM: 1pm
Special notes: Samuel got better after you left, Andrea. He still wouldn’t go in the stroller, but I got out the backpack and he seemed fine with that, so I pushed Flora and backpacked Samuel. We got in a decent walk at least.

A few things we did today: went on a walk (especially keying in on “bus,” “car,” “dog,” and “flower”), listened to our new favorite Pandora Toddler station (well, at least MY new favorite!), played with toys in the middle room, read, enjoyed time on a blanket outside,

General notes: We went through some alphabet flashcards online today; however, as I was going through, I noticed that “N” and “U” were missing! What in the world?? So, I decided to make my own flashcards. I am working on them now, and when I am finished, I will pass them along in case you want to be consistent at home. It’s no big deal, but just nice to have something that can click from one letter to the next.

September 21, 2011, PICS

Playing with the computer camera.

Too tired to eat?? Is that possible?? :)

September 21, 2011

Name: Flora
Date: 9-21-11
Arrived: 7:05am
Breakfast: 7:05am, some oatmeal, a few grapes
Snack 1: 10am, cereal
Nap 1: ----
Lunch: 12, all carrots, pasta, cheese, and grapes, 1/2 banana
Nap 2: 1:15-???. Because the room was so dark, I couldn’t tell if Flora ever really fell asleep or not. She started whining at 2, so I went up to her, but she seemed really tired and crabby, so I thought maybe she hadn’t fallen asleep yet. I tried to rock her for a while, but she only cried, so I finally brought her downstairs. I really am not sure that she took a nap at all…
Snack 2:
BM:
Special notes: Flora had trouble going down for a nap after lunch, but after re-tucking her a couple times (only to have her get back up and hang on the side of the crib), I decided it was time to put something over the window…so, I thumb-tacked a blanket over the window, put her back down again, and had no problems after that…I think the days of draping the blanket over the crib are long gone. :)

Name: Samuel
Date: 9-21-11
Arrived: 7:15am
Breakfast: 7:15am, some pasta with a little hummus and whatever else Andrea fed him before
Snack 1: cheerios (most of the watermelon was shared with others as Samuel seemed disinterested)
Nap 1: ----
Lunch: 12, most of sandwich and cheese, 1 banana, broccoli, a little PB
Nap 2: 12:45-2:15
Snack 2: PB and a tiny bit of apple.
BM: 11:45am
Special notes: Samuel barely made it through lunch! I was cracking up. He kept dozing off, so I was trying to loud and entertaining. This included throwing grapes in the air and catching them in my mouth . Flora was amuzed…Samuel, not so much. :) He made it, though, and then surprisingly took a little while to fall asleep. I also noticed that he threw up just a little bit this afternoon. It was mostly water and a tiny bit of small apple chunks. I don’t think it was anything to worry about…probably just drank too much water at once.

A few things we did today: read, went for a walk, played with Milo (fun times!), listened to music (I found a great kids station on Pandora. We did “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes” today. Flora seemed interested and taking it in; Samuel isn’t quite there yet I don’t think, played in the middle room.

General notes: Both kids were a little fussier than normal, especially Samuel, but that may be because of the switch in schedule. I think I will try it for the rest of the week and see how it goes.

September 20, 2011

Name: Flora
Date: 9-20-11
Arrived: 7:10am
Breakfast: 7:15am, most of oatmeal and raisins
Snack 1: 9:45, cereal
Nap 1: 10:30-11:30
Lunch: 12, just about all pasta, grapes, carrots, and all cheese, didn’t want yogurt
Nap 2: ----, went with Grandma
Snack 2: with Grandma
BM: none yet
Special notes: I played a couple different instruments for the kids today, and while I was playing one, Flora found a diaper box and started using it as an instrument as she drummed along! It was great.

Name: Samuel
Date: 9-20-11
Arrived: 7:30am
Breakfast: already ate
Snack 1: ----
Nap 1: 9:30-11:30
Lunch: 12, all sweet potato, all PB
Nap 2: still trying at 4:10pm
Snack 2: cheese, 2:45pm
BM: 1:30pm
Special notes: Samuel doesn’t usually nap so early in the morning, but he looked SO tired, and when I put him down, he fell asleep almost instantly. I find it amusing that it seems wherever I take Sammy, people recognize him! One of the check-out ladies at Kroger was going nuts over him. She also asked about you. :)

A few things we did today: went for a walk, went grocery shopping (I took the stroller), listened to me play trumpet and violin (and investigated the trumpet), hauled wood and rode in the wheel barrow, read

General notes: No pics today. I think maybe tomorrow I will try just one nap with both of them and see how it goes. They were both a little bit fussy today anyway, so I figure delaying nap time won’t make much of a difference. I think it’s worth a shot, maybe even try it out for the rest of the week and see if they transition at all…unless, of course, one of them is just super overly tired and obviously needs a nap

September 19, 2011 PICS

Flora figured out that putting her lips on the couch and blowing air made a funny noise. :)

September 19, 2011

Name: Flora
Date: 9-19-11
Arrived: 7:10am
Breakfast:7:15am, about 1/2 of English muffin and PB
Snack 1: 9:30am, the rest of English muffin and PB
Nap 1: 10:10-11:10
Lunch: 12, most grapes, all cheese, most pasta, about 1/3 of an apple, and all yogurt
Nap 2: no go, tried for a while
Snack 2: 2:30, cereal
BM: 8:30am
Special notes: Flora is so cute with Samuel sometimes. Today, when he came down from his nap, she brought him his water. She is also hilarious with the pillows. She likes to drag them off the couches and then fall on them. :)

Name: Samuel
Date: 7-19-11
Arrived: 7:25am
Breakfast: 7:30am, all of oatmeal and blueberries
Snack 1: ----
Nap 1: 10:10-11:40
Lunch: 12, most of the fried rice as well as most of the wonton soup, wouldn’t eat citrus so I gave him 1/2 banana
Nap 2: no nap
Snack 2:30, cheese and grapes
BM: 9am, 1pm
Special notes: Sammy soaked through his diaper today…but I think that was partly my fault. I’m not sure the diaper pad was pulled all the way to one end, and I think 4 hours between changing might have been too long. Either way, I think his blanket needs washing again…sorry!

A few things we did today: went for a walk (before the rain!), played with tinker toys, read books, practiced primary colors on the mats, played in general, played piano

General notes: The kids are still a little young for Tinker Toys, but they seemed to enjoy them anyway. They had fun picking them up and moving them around. Flora also found that she could stick the sticks down the holes in the middle of the trough and the sticks would fall out the bottom. She had fun doing that for a while. They also had fun putting the round parts in their own mouths, then exchanging pieces by putting the round pieces in each other’s mouths. Ha :)

A few things we did today: went on a walk (all bundled in blankets!), went to Milo’s house and played, played in the front room, played with Emily

General notes: I’m pretty zonked today, so I don’t really have a lot to write about. Both kids were a little fussier than normal, but not too bad.

September 15, 2011

As a note: I am going to try to start posting earlier. Usually, it is the pictures that keep me from posting right away after "work", so I think I will post the information (since this may be useful for knowing eating habits and sleeping habits before dinner time and bedtime), and then later post pictures when I get to it. We'll see how that goes. :)

Name: Flora
Date: 9-15-11
Arrived: 7:05am
Breakfast: 7:10am, 1/2 of her 1/2 of a PB sandwich, all of egg and cheese
Snack 1: 9:30am, cereal
Nap 1: 10:35 (took a couple tries and reading a book in between, but she finally fell asleep) to 11:35
Lunch: 12, all grapes, all turkey, all carrots, some of the PB sandwich from breakfast, and some milk
Nap 2: 2:50pm-3:20
Snack 2: 3:30, teddy grams and raisins
BM: 1pm
Special notes: I did hear Flora say “Flora!” which sounded like “Lola!” :) She said it quite a bit, actually. Also, Flora’s shoulder shrugging somehow turned into looooong shrugs today where she would leave her shoulders shrugged and make her neck disappear for a few seconds. It was really funny and cute!

Name: Samuel
Date: 9-15-11
Arrived: 7:20am
Breakfast: all oatmeal and raisins, didn’t want fruit
Snack 1: ----
Nap 1: 10:20-11:30
Lunch: 12, a lot of the pasta and sauce, all carrots (mushed into his pasta), just a little fruit
Nap 2: 4:30-?
Snack 2: 3pm, banana cookie and fruit
BM: ?
Special notes: Samuel was hilarious today putting a plastic bowl on his face. I think he liked the sound of his voice echoing off of it and also like to hide and pop out for Nanna.

A few things we did today: went on a walk, played with Grandma Sinders, picked tomatoes, played in the yard

General notes: So…I feel pretty dumb. We were all packed up, ready to go hiking on the Miami Trails when I realized that yesterday while driving MY car, I left my keys for ANDREA’S car in MY car…ahhhh! So, needless to say, we missed what could have been a great morning of hiking. Rather than sulking, we stuck the kids in the backpacks and walked around the neighborhood instead, which definitely wasn’t the same as being in the woods, but it was nice…I beautiful morning to be out for sure. We came back and played a little bit (Nanna played a tickle game with the kids and they loved it! It’s the hardest I’ve seen Flora laugh).

September 14, 2011

Sorry this is posted so late! I thought I had posted, but I only finished it in Word and then forgot to post!

Name: Flora
Date: 9-14-11
Arrived: 7:10am
Breakfast: 7:15am, all eggs and cheese, 1/2 banana
Snack 1: 9am, cereal
Nap 1: 10am-11am
Lunch: 12pm, most of turkey, sweet potatoes, and 1/2 banana, all grapes
Nap 2: 2pm-3pm
Snack 2: ----
BM: 1pm
Special notes: Flora is doing great with signs at lunch. I’ve really been trying to get her to understand “milk.” For some reason, she uses the sign for “water” and then “more” to show milk. I’ll keep working on it. :)

Name: Samuel
Date: 9-14-11
Arrived: 7:20am
Breakfast: 7:15am, most eggs, all pancake and PB
Snack 1: ate a little of Flora’s droppings. Also had a couple bites of cookie dough before lunch (don’t worry…no raw eggs! It’s the healthy recipe with all good stuff)
Nap 1: 10:10am-11:20am
Lunch: noon, was picky. Ate a few bites of lentils and rice, also ate a little of the soup from Monday, ate a whole banana
Nap 2:
Snack 2:
BM: 2:30pm
Special notes: Samuel pointed to the computer today and was kind of whining. I think he wanted music, so I made up a sign for music. I’ll have to show you so you can use it, too. :)

A few things we did today: went on a walk (pointed out a couple big rocks and also investigated a pine cone), made up a sign for “music,” played guitar and sang, practiced primary colors with the big foamy mats, played with Grandma Brenda, made our own tunnel and crawled through a few times, practiced on the stairs, read, put cookies in a tray (Flora)

General notes: The kids seemed to enjoy crawling through the tunnel we made. Flora has really been enjoying playing with the ball…she screams and laughs a lot! We hope to maybe go hiking tomorrow if the weather permits.

September 13, 2011

Name: Flora
Date: 9-13-11
Arrived: 7:10am
Breakfast: 7:15am, oatmeal
Snack 1: 10am, cereal
Nap 1: 10:30-11:25am
Lunch: 11:55am, yogurt, 1/2 banana, all sweet potato, almost all cheese and wrap, all grapes, and a good serving of milk
Nap 2: ----
Snack 2: ----
BM: 8am, 1pm
Special notes: Flora seemed to enjoy watching some of the other kids play in the park today. While Samuel was crawling around, Flora was often standing in the distance, looking longingly at the older girls who were running all over and playing on the equipment as if to say, “I wish I could run around and play like that!” :)

Name: Samuel
Date: 9-13-11
Arrived: 7:15am
Breakfast: 7:20am, all potatoes and cheese, all eggs, wouldn’t eat the peaches
Snack 1: ----
Nap 1: no go, tried a couple different times
Lunch: 11:55, a little rice and beans but didn’t want it, so I tried just plain beans…he ate a couple and that’s it. All yogurt (with all the peaches from breakfast mushed into it). Since he didn’t eat much with substance, I gave him a banana with PB, which he loved.
Nap 2: 2:40-4:30
Snack 2: ----
BM: 1pm
Special notes: After Flora left, Sammy and I went to the store. He is so fun to have in the store. He smiles at a lot of people, which makes them so happy. He also started bopping up and down when we traveled under a store speaker that was playing hard rock music. Ha It cracked me up. I’m telling you…he’s going to be a musical genius. :)

A few things we did today: This morning, right after breakfast, we headed to Hanover Park on 130. It is a wonderful park for a variety of ages. We walked the stroller around the loop 2 times, played on the equipment and met Madison (2) and Dana (adult) who are also from Oxford. After playing, we walked the loop one more time, which I think was a little of a stretch…Flora seemed restless (I think she was tired) and Sammy seemed a little restless, too. Getting ready for the park, getting there, playing, and coming home took up a good bit of the morning, and the afternoon was mostly lunch, so with a little hanging out in between, that’s about all we did today since Flora left early (and of course Sammy went grocery shopping with me after that).

General notes: See above.

General notes: I had some things to write, but I waited too long to post and now I’ve forgotten. Sorry! I did want to say that the kids love pots and pans and kitchen things! So fun to watch them play. :)

Special notes:

A few things we did today: Well, as we were stuck inside today, I tried to come up with some new things. We had a new car toy that fascinated both of them for a while, then I set up a blanket tent and tried to lure them in…Flora crawled through once, and that was the extent of the activity in the tent. Ha They both played in the Coupe quite a bit today, and I also found that they somewhat enjoy playing with a sheet (Flora loved being dragged around on it…Samuel, I’m not so sure…), we read a little, practiced crawling the stairs, oh…I almost forgot…they both loved playing and listening to the piano! Wish I had a picture of them at the piano, but they were on my lap, so that made it a little tricky. They also enjoyed me playing the recorder and the harmonica (Andrea, obviously Samuel is over his fear of harmonicas…) :) So, though we were inside, it was a busy morning.
This afternoon, after lunch I was a bit stir crazy, so despite the weather, we went for a walk. Flora was in the backpack with the rain cover on it, and Samuel was in the stroller with the rain fly. I had my rain jacket, and we had a nice stroll. Wish I had a picture of that, too! :)

General notes: Notes are above today.
