September 6, 2011

No pics today.

Name: Flora
Date: 9-6-11
Arrived: 7:10am
Breakfast: 7:15am, some oatmeal, a couple bites of fruit (didn’t want to eat much)
Snack 1: cereal, a little right after breakfast, then a little at about 10am
Nap 1: 10:50-11:45
Lunch: 11:55, ate most of the leftover oatmeal, all of edamame, cheese, and hummus, only a little watermelon and maybe one grape
Nap 2: left at 1:15pm with Grandma! :)
Snack 2: ----
BM: 8:15am, 12:45pm
Special notes: Flora seemed great today. She only coughed a few times, and it didn’t seem to faze her much. The only thing a little out of the ordinary was her appetite. She usually eats pretty well, but she didn’t eat quite as much as usual. Flora has been great trying to help Samuel learn things. It was so cute today when I said, “Samuel, do you want more?” and Flora came over in front of Samuel and did the “more” sign! :) She is so impressive with following directions, too. We were listening to music today and dancing, and she would stomp when I said stomp and clap when I said clap.

Name: Samuel
Date: 9-6-11
Arrived: 7:30am
Breakfast: 8:am, all eggs with sweet potato, all of pancake with blueberry, and he still seemed hungry, so I gave him 1/2 of a banana
Snack 1: ---- (though I did catch him steal a mouth of Flora’s snack!)
Nap 1: 11:15-12:15
Lunch: 12:15, was pretty picky. Ate a little over half the rice stuff, only a couple bites of cantaloupe, no blueberries
Nap 2: 3:40pm
Snack 2:
BM: none yet

Special notes: Samuel woke up right at 8am! That might explain why when I tried to put him down the first time for his nap, he just sat and babbled. I went and got him and put him down a little while later. He seemed a little bit more prepared to nap that time. The diapers seem to be working fine. I’ll keep you posted.

A few things we did today: went on a long walk on “the other side” of Dana (fancy!) :), played with the Cozy Coupe, read a little bit, danced, listened to music, after Flora left…we went to the grocery store, the vitamin store (Kroger didn’t have malt, but they didn’t either), and then to the Tri playground.

General notes: We didn’t get to do quite as much today because both meals were eaten only 1 kid at a time because of different schedules (and sleeping babies), so it was often Flora who had to play independently while I fed Samuel and since I was feeding them at different times, that took up quite a bit of time today. We did go for a nice long walk to enjoy the breezes and beautiful weather. I think they enjoyed it, though I wonder if they were a little cold…? They both had jackets and socks on, so I think they were ok. They were sharing a ball back and forth this morning, which was cool to see. They both LOVE the Cozy Coupe, so when all else fails, that may be the new go-to. :)
