Flora was enjoying Samuel's feet while she waited for him to finish breakfast...

FLOWER! hehehe

Name: Flora
Date: 9-7-11
Arrived: 7:05
Breakfast:7:15am, some oatmeal, no grapes. Wasn’t very hungry
Snack 1: cereal, 9:45am
Nap 1: 10:15am-11:40am
Lunch: noon, some peas, rest of the oatmeal from breakfast, all cheese, all sweet potato, some grapes, little milk (wasn’t too interested in milk today or yesterday)
Nap 2: 2:20?? (I’m not sure when she actually fell asleep)-3:45pm
Snack 2: ----
BM: 8am, another time but I forget when…?
Special notes: Both at breakfast and at lunch, Flora started to cry a little/whine…I wasn’t sure what was wrong, but I think it was because she heard a train. Both times there was a train in the distance. Is she afraid of trains?
I played a little piano today while Flora sat on my lap. She seemed to love it! She was so quiet and just listened intently.

Name: Samuel
Date: 9-7-11
Arrived: 7:45am
Breakfast: 8am, all oatmeal, 1/2 banana
Snack 1: ----
Nap 1: 11am-12:15
Lunch: 12:15, little melon, all cheese, all potato, most of yogurt, few blueberries.
Nap 2: 3:55pm-
Snack 2: ----
BM: 10am, 1pm
Special notes: Samuel was going nuts with his “flower” sign today. He snorted continuously for about 30 seconds, and then had more snorts about a minute later. I think he is proud of his signing. :)

A few things we did today: played in the Cozy Coupe, read, played with Brad and Milo, went to the library, listened to piano (me and Flora)

General notes: It was so nice having friends over today! It was quite apparent that all the kids were excited as they were very vocal and loud and had many smiles, all constantly on the move. They all played well together today, so I think Brad and I are going to try to get together every Wednesday, as long as it works out. The library was fun, though short because the parking lot was full and I could only find a dime for the meter. :) There is a lot to do there, and Jennifer was really nice to us (she recognized Samuel). We will probably hang out there a lot in the winter, and hopefully Sammy will be walking by then, because it was a bit challenging at times…hehe…I had to hold Samuel, and Flora was being really cautious, so she would only go a couple steps holding my hand and then she would let go and wouldn’t go any further. After a few rounds of this, I simply picked her up, but both kids at the same time is quite a workout for the arms! :)
